Watchmen on the frontlines-Keeping Watch-Sharing Light

The vanguard is the leading part of an army, tasked with scouting ahead, securing ground and engaging the enemy before the main forces arrive. Historically, this division of an army was called “avant-garde” in French and consisted of the foremost troops who would march at the front and deploy first. In a broader sense, the term can also refer to the forefront of any movement or activity. There is so much today attempting to grab our attention and time. People struggle to keep up with the flood of information. Avant-Garde Outreach would like to use current events and search for creative and unique ways to reach out to our community and discuss God’s final gospel message to the world before the second coming of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to bring into focus the trusting word of God and the relevance of the Bible today.
